Bit Planet Games has released Ultrawings Remastered and Ultrawings 2 Gold Edition, rebuilt specifically for Meta Quest 3 headsets. Both versions are available now, either separately or through a discounted bundle.

Ultrawings Remastered is priced at $14.99, while Ultrawings 2 Gold Edition costs $19.99. The two-game bundle is available for $24.99, saving $10 compared with buying both titles individually. The available information does not confirm whether owners of the original games can access an upgrade option.

Originally released in 2017 for Oculus Rift, Steam and PlayStation VR, Ultrawings was among the early open-world virtual reality flight games to use virtual stick, throttle and cockpit controls. The remastered edition includes the original four aircraft and more than 200 missions, alongside Quest 3 enhancements such as a new ocean, a broader selection of skies, improved haptics, new music and updated lighting and shadows.

Ultrawings 2 Gold Edition includes the sequel's six aircraft and adds a dynamic weather system, from clear skies to thunderstorms, as well as a complete day-night cycle. Its controller haptics have also been updated to use Quest 3's TruTouch system.

The Quest 3 rebuilds also offer a higher native render resolution and are expected to improve draw distance, an important upgrade for a flight game where the horizon and distant terrain are constantly visible. Ultrawings 2's existing features include aerial dogfights for up to eight players and ring races, expanding on the more relaxed flight experience of the first game.

Ultrawings Remastered and Ultrawings 2 Gold Edition are available now for Quest 3 as individual purchases or together in the discounted bundle.
