Dungeons of Eternity has received its Monster Mash update for Halloween, bringing back the popular Stormgrave realm as a permanent addition. The update also adds seasonal decorations, new enemies and several gameplay improvements.
Stormgrave is once again available permanently, featuring rain and lightning alongside a new Deadwood Forest chamber style. The area is filled with large dead trees overlooking tombs and graveyards. The lobby and main menu have also been redesigned with a Deadwood Forest theme.
The update introduces several Halloween-inspired enemies. Vampires appear as minibosses in Stormgrave, mummies replace zombies in Sandstorm, and pumpkin-headed skeletons charge at players before exploding into cluster bombs. The Keep chambers also receive multiple new variants.
Players can purchase the new Halloween Cosmetics Bundle DLC for $6.99. It includes themed headpieces, accent colors and wing cosmetics. To mark the game's third anniversary, players will also receive a trophy in their room representing one, two or three years of play, depending on their time with the game.
Other additions include a potion chest for organizing inventory between dungeon runs and the ability to trade weapons with other players in the outpost's Vendor area. Falling into a pit now requires a teammate to pull the player back out, while a new teleporter connects the Vendor area with the Crypt and allows travel in both directions.
